There are so many ways that us Champion Moms show our love to our families. It goes beyond just the occasional “I love you!” We live and breathe love daily to our loved ones, through words yes and also through our actions. Our relationships within our families are the most important bonds we share during our lifetime and nurturing those relationships are top priority!

Laughter and playfulness is a staple in a Champion Mom home! Life can be too serious sometimes and breaking the tension of our day to day lives is necessary. We play with our kiddos in a variety of ways. We plan family game nights with snacks and silly games like Pie Face and Speak Out. We have random dance parties in the kitchen and have tickle fights in the living room. When our kiddos get a little cut or bump we give them kisses and make them laugh to get their minds off the pain. Laughter is always the best medicine! A home filled with playfulness is a home filled with happy memories.

We know this age old phrase like the back of our hands, am I right? Every day we show our love for our family through the tasks we tackle and the efforts we put in to going above and beyond. We prepare delicious meals to fill our family’s bellies. We clean, vacuum, and schedule our carpet cleanings regularly to help keep everyone healthy. We fold mountains of laundry, check homework, and shuttle the kids all over creation. We do A LOT! For us, most of our love is sprinkled through everything that we do. Our loved ones may not always recognize this form of love, but they undoubtedly feel it!

Words may not be the only way that we show love, but they are the most direct way our loved ones receive our love. When our littles are feeling sad and upset, we use our words to encourage them. We show sympathy and compassion when they are struggling with self-confidence or an obstacle that feels too big to conquer. We hug them and tell them how great our love is for them and that they are capable of achieving all of their dreams. Our words fill their heart and inspire their minds to grow into amazing men and women. We are raising Mountain Movers and Earth Shakers!
